
Considering the slightly different tone the new game appears to be taking, you might want to go back and check out the originals in all their colorful glory. Since 2013, the series has been mostly dormant, but now it's back with a new reboot for the series. You'll wield guns that fire sonic waves of Dubstep, Shock Paddles usually saved for paramedics, and even be able to sic sharks on folks. Throughout the series, you'll fight gangs, terrorists, aliens, and even the be-all-end-all of villainy: Satan himself. It's rather conventional in video games to have a narrative about your standard player character going from the bottom rungs of the social hierarchy to the top, but how many actually end with you taking the reigns as President?


Game lovers aren't exactly left wanting when it comes to the crime genre, but the Saints Row series has long stood out amongst that crowded landscape as, if not the best, the weirdest one of them.
